We partnered with Revellion to create a VR experience and also mockup an art installation.
The space was modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D with Octane, while the VR experience was created with Unity. Two downloads are below as a free download for android with Google Cardboard, and Google Daydream versions.
Dale Mina:
Why do we suffer? Why have these tragic acts of violence around the country not ceased? Why have there been 301 school shootings since 2013? Why is the loss of the 34,000 people to suicide each year still a statistic? All of these incidents whether violent or self inflicting are not limited to the hateful, the violent, and the deranged. They include the afraid and the suffering found in classrooms, workplaces, and homes. The path to depression or violence is not a door we choose but a small crack we fall and lose ourselves in. _________________ “Anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering, suffering leads to darkness.”

DOWNLOAD VR
Download and launch these .apk files on an android device to view the experience. Google Daydream movement is based on your thumb position on the controller, while the Google Cardboard movement is based on floating “Nodes” that you can look at then teleport to after it counts down.
If any crazy stuff happens, just restart the application.
